Mary-Kate Olsen, born June 13 in 1986, is an American actress. Olsen is also a fashion designer, writer producer, entrepreneur and writer. She was the co-founder of luxury clothing brands The Row, Elizabeth and James, and the more affordable lines Olsenboye and StyleMint together with her fraternal twin sister Ashley Olsen. Olsen pursued independent acting from 2012 onwards. She's younger than actor Elizabeth Olsen. Mary-Kate was born in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Jarnette "Jarnie", a personal manager, and David "Dave" Olsen, a real estate developer and mortgage banker. With her twin sister Ashley her parents have an older brother named Trent, a younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, and two half-siblings of her father's second marriage. Olsen's mother and father separated in 1996. Madison Pettis appeared on Disney's middle-to-late 2000s. Pettis's big break came after she appeared as a character in Barney & Friends between 2005-2006.
